Payouts

Earnings are paid in dollar stablecoins, to an address you control, once your available balance reaches $5.

Payout rails

Each account is paid on one rail, shown in Settings:

RailAssetChain
BaseUSDC (USD Coin)Base, chain 8453
Robinhood ChainUSDG (Global Dollar)Robinhood Chain, chain 4663

Both are EVM chains, so the same 0x address works on either.

Connect a payout wallet

In the app, open Settings and click Payout wallet. Pick Your Meris wallet (created for you at sign-in if you did not sign in with a wallet), a wallet you already connected, or Connect another wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, any browser wallet, or a mobile wallet through WalletConnect). Then sign the short message it shows. Signing proves the address is yours. It sends no transaction and costs nothing.

To change wallets later, do the same again with the new one.

Use a regular wallet you control

Smart-contract wallets (such as Base Account or Safe) are not supported: their address can differ from one chain to another, and payouts go out on both Base and Robinhood Chain. Exchange deposit addresses are not supported either. Payouts cannot be reversed.

Withdraw

Click Withdraw on the Overview or in Settings. One withdrawal sends your available balance up to $50; withdraw again for the rest. The request appears in Payout history as Processing.

Withdrawals are checked and sent within 48 hours. Once sent, the entry turns to Sent with a link to the transaction on the chain's block explorer.

StatusMeaning
ProcessingRequested, waiting to be sent. The amount is no longer in your available balance.
SentPaid. The transaction hash links to the block explorer.
ReturnedNot sent, for example because of a problem with the address. The amount goes back to your available balance.

Balances explained

  • Available: earned, not yet withdrawn. This is what Withdraw sends from.
  • Withdrawing: requested and processing.
  • Lifetime: everything you have ever earned, including what has been paid out.

Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn where you live.
